Your Hosts Sheree and Phill Edwards are originally born and bred NZ and the UK. After living some 30 years plus in Australia, found themselves wanting a sea change for their next stage in life. After 18 months of searching , they finally found a home that ticked all the boxes. With Sheree's passion for interior decoration and Phill's extraordinary skills, they completed a 2 year full renovation of their home. The house itself is unique to say the least, originally built in the early 80's, and architectually designed, it was the talk of the town. Timber clad with Rimu and Alexandra stone it sits on 13 acres of beautiful gardens and large lawns, plenty of space to rest and relax. Situated in Papakaio, just 20 mins North of Oamaru, five minutes off SH1 and close to the Waitaki River. On the corner of their property lies a large pine tree forest which gave the inspiration to play on their name of Edwards to "EDWOODS" Boutique B & B.
